Postoperative Care Schedule

Cautions after the surgery

  • Posture
    1You have to sleep in a flat position for up to two weeks after the surgery.
    2Try not to sleep on sideways or face down.
    3For 48 hours after surgery, it is better to limit the use of arms other than meals or washing face and to stabilize them.
  • Meal
    1It is recommended that you take soft foods such as soup, rice gruel, and porridge on the day of surgery and the next morning because you are after general anesthesia.
  • Wound management
    1Be careful not to loosen the bandage of the breast, and be careful not to be exposed to stimulation such as squeezing or wetting the surgical area.
    2Be careful not to lock the valve if you have a blood pouch, and the pouch should usually be removed about 1-2 days after surgery.

  • Cleansing and shower
