Nose Surgery for Men

iWELL Plastic Surgery’s
Nose Surgery for Men
One of the most common types of plastic surgery sought by men is nose surgery. Because the nose is located in the center of the face, it influences the degree to which the face appears three-dimensional, and the T zone, in particular, is an area that affects how masculine a man looks. The most ideal nose shape for men is one with a straight nose bridge all the way from the area between the eyes. Instead of just being tall, it should also have a masculine appearance from the side. At iWELL, we come up with a detailed design based on the patient’s individual characteristics to create a refined yet masculine nose.

Plastic Surgery Is Not Reserved for Women!
Compared to women, men tend to have a wider nose bridge, more prominent brow bones, and thicker skin in the nose tip. These characteristics must be taken into consideration when planning for surgery. Another factor that should be taken into account is that men tend to be more physically active and engage in outdoor activities. In the case of some men, they have suffered a nose fracture during military service that resulted in a crooked septal nasal cartilage accompanied by rhinitis and sinusitis and ended up acquiring a crooked nose or an aquiline nose. In such cases, a 3D-CT scan analysis is carried out to improve the functional aspects as well.

Men’s noses are different from women’s noses
The Golden Ratio for a Perfect T Zonefor Men!
Masculine Nose
Men’s noses are typically wider than women’s noses along the nose bridge from the brow area. A straight nose that is refined yet masculine is created through men’s nose surgery at iWELL.
Feminine Nose
Creating a nose that is gently curved between the forehead and the nose tip is the way to achieve a refined and feminine look.

A Nose That Looks Chiseled from Every Angle
An attractive nose is one that is in harmony with the rest of the face.
The nose bridge should be straight and aligned with the nose tip, and the angle between the nose tip and the lips should be around 90~105°.
However, the most important factor to consider when it comes to nose surgery is the patient’s desired nose shape that would best suit his face.

Ideal Contours
Unlike the gently curved nose bridge preferred by women, the ideal nose shape for men is one that runs straight from the area between the eyes to the nose tip with a bit of elevation between the eyes.

Ideal Angle
The angle between the forehead and the nose bridge should be around 140~150° and the angle between the nose tip and the lips should be 90~105°.

Ideal Ratio
The most ideal size of the base of the nose is one that is one-fifth the width of the face.

Ideal Width
The nose bridge should not be too wide when viewed from the front but not as narrow as the ideal nose for women.
Method of Surgery by Type

Flat Nose
When it comes to a flat nose, the contours are not very well-defined and the area between the eyes can appear wide. If your face appears wider than it actually is due to a flat nose, the nose bridge and nose tip may be corrected to address the issue.

#noticeablecurve in the #middleofthenose
Aquiline Nose
An aquiline nose is one that has a curved or bent appearance in the middle of the bridge. If the protrusion is not severe, the cartilage is shaved down slightly, but if it is severe, the nasal bones and cartilage must be smoothed down and an implant is used to raise the nose bridge.

Crooked Nose
In the case of men, a crooked nose can often result from a physical trauma. A crooked nose is associated with rhinitis, nasal congestion and other medical conditions concerning the nose. A surgical correction of the nose bridge and nasal septum can lead to satisfying cosmetic and functional improvements.

#droopynosetip #longnose
Long/Arrowhead Nose
A long nose is a nose that is long with the nose tip appearing to be drooping down. A long nose can make the entire face appear longer than it actually is and disrupts the harmonious balance of the face, thereby making one appear older. This condition occurs due to drooping alar cartilages or a long nasal septum, which must be corrected to address the problem.

#stubbynose #flatandwide nose
Bulbous Nose
If the alae are too big and wide, they should be reduced in size in harmony with the rest of the face. While a bulbous nose is desirable in physiognomy, many people with this type of nose are not happy with the way they look. Usually, plastic surgery is performed on the nose bridge and the nose tip, but it is possible to simply reduce the size of the alae.
